What a good photo should be, especially street photography, or snap shot? This question loops around my mind and bothers me for a long time. Today, I finally find out a simple word to describe this.
A good photo (especially snap shot) makes good connections.
Yes, connection. There are numerous different kinds of objects on the street, at that time. A good photographer makes good connections of selected objects and the environment in a small and specific time frame by frame them together in a little piece of film (sensor).
There are infinite kinds of connections can be made by the photographer. Maybe a connection of shape and color, a connection that tells a story, a connection between contradistinctive things. Photographers find out the connections by their eye, by their mind, and create interesting photos. Thats the way I should go. ¡VAMOS!
